Ikpeazu Hosts G5 Governors In Abia
Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers is currently in Aba for a meeting with his Abia counterpart, Okezie Ikpeazu.
Also present at the meeting are Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Samuel Ortom of Benue, and Seyi Makinde of Oyo.
According to the Rivers governor, they are in the state “for the PDP campaign today”.
The five governors, known as Integrity Group, have been clamouring for the resignation of Iyorchia Ayu as national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) — and they have so far failed to participate in the presidential rallies of the party.
