INEC Chairman Visits South Korean National Assembly and Constitutional Court
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, on Tuesday, 2nd June 2026, as part of the International Election Observation Programme (IEOP) team, visited the South Korean National Assembly and the Constitutional Court of Korea.
The visit provided insight into the role of the Korean Electoral Legal System, particularly the Legislature and Judiciary, in the evolution and credibility of the democratic process.
The team was also taken round the National Assembly Museum and the Constitutional Court Museum, which provide a historical background to the legal and democratic evolution of the Republic of Korea.
