Inner Wheel Club Ado Ekiti Empowers Widows, PWDs with Cash Gifts to Ease Economic Hardship

The Inner Wheel District 913 Nigeria Ado Ekiti Roses has presented cash empowerment for the less privileged to ameliorate their hardships.

The presentation which took place in Ado Ekiti saw widows, persons with disabilities and indigent elderly citizens receiving financial support to cushion the effect of the current economic reality.

Speaking during the presentation, the club’s president Inner Wheel Member Margaret Fagboyo who said the event was a reflection of who they are and what they stand for emphasised on the pillars of the club to include friendship, service and international understanding.

The president who spoke further on the theme ” Empowering lives, Creating Change stated that true empowerment goes beyond words that requires action, reaching out , lifting others and creating opportunities for individuals to thrive.

The immediate past District chairperson Inner Wheel Member Abimbola Solanke advised the beneficiaries to be kind hearted to others so that the world could be a better place.

One of the beneficiaries Miss Lawal Oyinkansola who could not hide her joy expressed gratitude to the inner wheel Ado Ekiti Roses and promised to make good use of the money.

Inner Wheel Club is the female wing of Rotary club International founded in 1924 and is established in 104 countries of the world.
