Kidnappers Demand Ransom as Ilejemeje Vice Chairman Abducted in Ekiti

The Vice Chairman of Ilejemeje Local Government Area, Mrs. Grace Ogunleye, has been abducted by suspected bandits.

She was seized along the Ido/Ipere Ekiti road on Wednesday.

The Chairman of the council, Mr. Alaba Dada, confirmed the incident in a statement to the press. He revealed that the kidnappers have already reached out to him and other party leaders in the area via text messages.
