Kwankwaso Yet To Inform NNPP He Is Defecting To APC- Galadima
Buba Galadima, chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has dismissed claims that the party’s presidential candidate in the last election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Galadima said Kwankwaso was yet to inform the NNPP that he would be joining the APC.
In a television interview, the NNPP chieftain, however, noted that Kwankwaso was ready to work with President Bola Tinubu.
According to Galadima: “Kwankwaso has not told anybody he is joining the APC; people are just talking, but what we have before is winner take all. If Tinubu is calling for a unity government, it is not a bad thing.”
Kwankwaso has been seen around Tinubu since the latter won the presidential election in February.
