Lagos Govt Gives Vehicles To Commission Members, 7 Perm Secs

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has presented official vehicles to the Chairmen and Members of the State Civil Service Commission and the Health Service Commission as well as seven Permanent Secretaries.

The State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, made the presentation on Thursday, July 30th on behalf of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu.

The presentation ceremony, held at the Office of the Head of Service, Alausa, Ikeja, underscores the State Government’s commitment to providing the necessary resources to enable Senior Public Officials to deliver efficient, effective, and people-centred service.

Presenting the vehicles, Mr. Agoro conveyed the Governor’s congratulations to the beneficiaries and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, accountability, and diligence in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He noted that the provision of the official vehicles reflects the Sanwo-Olu administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Public Servants and to enhancing productivity across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

He further charged the beneficiaries to ensure that the vehicles are used judiciously for official assignments that will enhance service delivery and contribute to the development of Lagos State.

The Head of Service reaffirmed the State Government’s resolve to continue motivating and equipping the Public Service in line with the THEMES+ Agenda to drive sustainable socio-economic development and improve the quality of life of all Lagosians.
