VIDEO: Lagos Mechanic Laments Loss of N125,000 After Helping Stranded Woman Deliver Baby

A Lagos-based mechanic, Emmanuel Enya, has recounted how his act of kindness in helping a stranded pregnant woman deliver her baby turned painful after N125,000 meant for their care was allegedly stolen by bystanders.

Enya was travelling from Kwara State towards the Ojota area of Lagos when he spotted the distressed woman by the roadside. Realising she was in labour, he made a U-turn to assist and successfully helped deliver the baby.

While the mother and child were safe, Enya said the cash he had set aside for essential items for them was taken in the commotion. He described the incident as deeply painful, lamenting what he sees as a decline in societal humanity despite his efforts to save a life.
