Lagos Police Nab 2 Men For Defrauding Woman of N7.5m

Operatives of the Lagos state police command have arrested two men for allegedly scamming a woman of N7.5 million with the promise of providing “spiritual help” for her.

This was disclosed in a series of tweets by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson of the state police command on Sunday.

“In Ikorodu, these two duped a woman to the tune of N7.5m under the guise of providing ‘spiritual help.’

“She realized the fraud and approached the police.

“They were apprehended when they arranged to get another batch of funds from her. Investigation is ongoing.”
