Nigerian Army Releases Shortlist for DSSC Course 29/2026

The Nigerian Army has published the list of successful candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29/2026.

In an announcement made on its official X handle on Monday, the Army directed shortlisted candidates to report for training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) in Jaji, Kaduna State, by 9:00 a.m. on February 22, 2026.

The list is available on the Army’s recruitment portal: https//recruitment.army.mil.ng.

Candidates were urged to strictly adhere to the reporting instructions to avoid disqualification. Required items include writing materials, several copies of recent passport photographs, confirmation scratch cards for WAEC/NECO results, basic personal and training kit such as plain vests, blue shorts, canvas shoes, toiletries, cutlery, and bedding.

The announcement also specified that photographs must be labeled on the back with the candidate’s surname, first name, other names, date of birth, and for serving personnel service number and current unit.

The DSSC course is a key entry scheme for professionals into the officer cadre of the Nigerian Army.
