Ogun APC Guber Candidate Yayi Visits Oyedepo, Tours 100,000-Capacity Ark

The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has visited the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, at Canaanland, Ota.

Adeola, who was accompanied by his wife, Temitope Adeola, made the visit on Friday, October 16, 2026.

The Senator said the visit afforded him the opportunity to interact with the cleric and receive his prayers and blessings.

He commended Bishop Oyedepo for his contributions to Christianity, spiritual development, education and humanitarian services in Nigeria and beyond.

During the visit, Adeola and his wife toured the ongoing construction of The Ark, the church’s massive worship auditorium designed to accommodate over 100,000 worshippers at a time.

The Ogun APC governorship flag bearer lauded the scale, architectural design and engineering of the project, describing it as a demonstration of vision, faith and commitment.

He noted that the project has the potential to boost Ogun State’s profile as a hub for religious tourism and spiritual activities.

The visit comes amid rising political activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.
