One Dead In Jigawa Building Collapse

At least one person has been recorded dead as a  building collapsed in the early hours of Saturday September 17, at Birniwa local government area of Jigawa state.

This was disclosed by Police spokesperson in the state, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam.

He said that the incident occurred at around 5:47am on Saturday.

He disclosed that while one person died on the spot, several others were injured.

The injured victims were rushed to Birniwa General Hospital for examination and treatment.

Adam added that the police did not suspect any foul play as the building that collapsed was built with mud.
