Police Investigates As Tunde Akindunbi Found Dead On Tree In Ekiti

Ekiti State Police has launched an investigation into the death of a young man identified as Tunde Akindunbi who was found dead in Ado-Ekiti.

The deceased Tunde was on Saturday, April 8, found hanging on a Mango tree in the Dalimore area of the State capital.

He is believed to have committed suicide but some of the people who came around thought otherwise.

Some residents of the area were of the opinion that the position of the dead man’s body on the tree does not suggest that he hanged himself.

They claimed that he might have been killed and hanged by his killers to cover up any trace that could lead to the discovery of the real cause of his death.

Some others believe that he might have taken his life due to the recent break-up with his girlfriend.

DSP Sunday Abutu, state police spokesperson said an investigation has been launched into the incident, and that two persons have been invited for questioning to assist the Command in its investigation.
