PYA Celebrates Oyebanji’s Court Victory, Pushes for Peace.

A non-governmental organization, Progressive Youth Ambassadors has felicitated with the Governorof Ekiti State Biodun Oyebanji over his victory at the Federal High Court, Abuja, which affirmed his candidacy ahead of the June 20 governorship election.

In a press statement signed by the group in Ekiti State, the Ambassadors described the ruling as a clear validation of the Governor’s candidacy and the integrity of the process that led to his emergence.

The court had dismissed a suit filed by Engr. Kayode Ojo and Ms. Abimbola Olajumoke, who challenged their disqualification and the consensus arrangement that produced Oyebanji as the party’s candidate.

Progressive Youth Ambassadors said the judgment was not only a legal victory but a symbolic affirmation of destiny while adding that the Governor has again demonstrated that his mandate is divine.

PYA called on Governor Oyebanji to be magnanimous in victory and extend an olive branch to his co-aspirants in the spirit of unity and collective progress.

The group also praised the judiciary for its steadfast commitment to justice and fairness, stating that the ruling reinforces public confidence in the rule of law as a cornerstone of our constitutional democracy.
