Schools evacuate students following bomb threat
Not less than four schools in the western Indian city of Jaipur have received bomb threats, leading to the evacuation of students.
According to reports, the schools on Monday, received threats over emails, which claimed that explosives had been planted on their premises.
The schools reached out to the police and they swung into action, dispatching multiple bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs to the schools to conduct searches.
“Four to five schools have received bomb threats. Police have reached the schools,” Jaipur police commissioner Biju George Joseph said.
The police said they were trying to identify the sender.
Similarly, on Sunday, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and several hospitals in the national capital received bomb threats over emails.
