Sheikh Gumi Loses Mother

Sheikh Ahmad  Gumi, controversial  Islamic cleric, has lost his mother.

She died Sunday evening at her residence in Kaduna.

Sheikh Gumi, in a Facebook post on Sunday said she died around 5:30 pm.

The cleric said the deceased would be missed greatly.

Gumi said, “Inna lillahi WA inna ilaihi rajiun. Today at 5.30pm, with a sad heart, I announce the death of my dear mother. Please seek for Her Allah’s forgiveness and mercy.

“Her last words to me three weeks ago: Insha Allah, Allah will put her and her children and grandchildren together in Jannah.

“These words were very comforting to me. Rahmatul lahi alaiha. Amin.”
