Shettima Commissions Abuja City Walk Experience Centre
Vice President Kashim Shettima has commissioned the Abuja City Walk Development Sales and Experience Centre, describing the project as part of the Federal Government’s efforts to promote investment and modern urban development in the nation’s capital.
Shettima, who represented President Bola Tinubu at the ceremony, commissioned the facility on Thursday in the ATV Area, off the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Expressway in Abuja.
The Vice President disclosed this in a statement shared via his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha’s official X handle on Friday.
According to the statement, the Abuja City Walk is a landmark mixed-use urban development strategically located along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport corridor and is designed to transform urban living through integrated residential, commercial, cultural and leisure infrastructure.
The project, the statement noted, is envisioned as a major investment destination and a gateway city for business, tourism and innovation in the Federal Capital Territory.
It added that the commissioning of the Development Sales and Experience Centre forms part of the Tinubu administration’s broader initiatives to attract investors and accelerate urban regeneration in Abuja.
According to the statement, the centre is intended to provide “investors, residents, and development partners with a first-hand experience of the vision for one of Abuja’s most ambitious urban regeneration and smart city developments.”
The statement further noted that the project aligns with the administration’s commitment to expanding investment opportunities, improving infrastructure and fostering sustainable urban development in the Federal Capital Territory.
