Singer Bella Shmurda Alleges $4 Million Lagos Real Estate Fraud in Emotional Appeal

Popular Nigerian musician Abiola Akinbiyi, professionally known as Bella Shmurda, has claimed that he fell victim to a massive real estate scam, losing $4 million on a fraudulent property deal in Lagos.
The artist made the shocking revelation during an emotional live broadcast on social media on Tuesday, where he broke down in tears while explaining the situation to his followers. Shmurda disclosed that he recently discovered the property he purchased did not belong to the person who sold it to him, and that the seller vanished immediately after receiving the payment.
“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property,” the singer lamented during the broadcast, expressing deep anxiety over losing years of hard work and savings.
While the singer did not reveal the identity of the suspected fraudster or specify the exact location of the property, he confirmed that he has already contacted his legal counsel to launch a full investigation into the transaction. Official law enforcement agencies have not yet released any statements regarding the allegations.
