Warri-Itakpe train service “collapses” once again
Ujevwu-Itakpe Train Service (UITS), officially known as Warri-Itakpe Train Service (WITS), has “collapsed” once again. The train derailed on Saturday.
Passengers who had already booked tickets to travel tomorrow Sunday have been advised to make alternative travel arrangements.
This is coming after passengers escaped harm on the train route after two coaches derailed on November 2nd, 3 days after resumption of service when the train earlier derailed.
No official statement has been issued by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) yet, and no information on the nature of the derailment and if there were casualties or not.
