Atiku Hits Katsina, Accuses APC Of Underdeveloping State
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections Atiku Abubakar has blamed the dwindling fortunes of Katsina state to the maladministration of the All Progressives Congress in the state in the last seven years.
Speaking during his campaign tour to the state on Tuesday, Atiku noted that the state witnessed progress and development when the PDP was in charge for the first 16 years of the current democratic governance.
The former Vice President who was a staunch ally of the late General Musa Yar’adua in the days of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) days, said only the PDP can return the state to the path of development.
He said the only way to achieve progress in the state is to return the PDP back to power, and therefore urged the people to vote for the state governorship candidate of the party Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke.
“Who will you vote for?” Atiku asked the crowd, which responded in thunderous PDP.
“For President?”, the crowd responded “Sai Atiku”.
