Bobrisky affirms to being a ‘MAN’ in court

Controversial Nigerian transvestite, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has confirmed his gender to be male during his trial at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Ikeja Federal High Court after pleading guilty to the abuse of the naira note.

Justice Abimbola, who convicted Bobrisky without the option of a fine, said the socialite’s conviction will serve as a deterrent to other people fond of abusing the naira note

However, before the conviction, Bobrisky, famous for dressing as a woman, affirmed to the justice that he is a man.

The six-month jail term will be served at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.
