Body of Commercial Motorcyclist Discovered by Riverbank in Ado-Ekiti

Residents of the Onala community in Ado-Ekiti were thrown into a state of shock on Friday following the discovery of a middle-aged man’s body near a riverbank.

The corpse was found by local residents in an area situated close to a church facility. The deceased, who was dressed in attire consistent with commercial motorcycle operations, was found lying by the water.

While official details regarding the circumstances of the death remain unconfirmed, community members have suggested that the man may have been a commercial motorcyclist who drowned during the recent heavy rainfall that affected parts of Ado-Ekiti.

Local residents have called on the relevant authorities to promptly visit the scene and evacuate the body. As of the time of reporting, the Ekiti State Police Command had not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
