City Boy Movement Pledges to Deliver Oyo for Tinubu, APC
The City Boy Movement, a political group in Oyo State, has vowed to work tirelessly for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the return of Oyo State to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement released on Friday, the group’s director, Olufemi Onireti, said the movement would collaborate with all party structures, wards, and stakeholders across the state to achieve the set goals. He described the mission as a collective responsibility to the people, pursued with clarity and dedication.
According to Onireti, the City Boy Movement has grown into a well-rooted grassroots network made up of individuals who understand local realities. He noted that the group’s strength lies not only in its increasing membership but also in its active engagement across communities, zones, and local councils.
He emphasised that the movement is not standing on the sidelines but is fully involved in the system it seeks to improve. Onireti said their connection with the people enables effective mobilisation, clear communication, and alignment with citizens’ needs.
The director praised President Tinubu for his resolve in tackling longstanding national challenges and for laying a foundation for a more stable and productive economy. He acknowledged that while some policy results are already visible, others would require time, consistency, and continued public support to achieve lasting impact.
Onireti urged Nigerians, especially residents of Oyo State, to remain steadfast and not waver in their support for the president. He reiterated the movement’s commitment to reclaiming the state and restoring governance that truly reflects the people’s will.
The statement concluded with a call for sustained support from the people of Oyo State, urging them to keep faith with the City Boy Movement and remain confident that ongoing collective efforts would lead to success.
