EFCC reacts to poster declaring Skitmaker Sabinus wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has dismissed a viral report alleging that the foremost Nigerian comedian and content creator, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, was wanted by its agency.

In the viral report on the anti-graft agency’s letterhead, the organisation was allegedly seeking the content creator for involvement in fraudulent activities.

The statement reads, “Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ijekwu.

“The public is hereby notified that Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, who appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of obtaining Money by false pretense.”

The statement reads further, “Ekuma, 43, is an indigene of Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and his last known address is: 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.”

Reacting to the viral statement on Facebook, EFCC via their official social media page debunked the allegation. EFCC wrote, “Clout chaser, stop this now!”
