Ekiti Deputy Governor Participates in APC E-Registration, Hails Exercise as Prelude to 2027 Polls

Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) nationwide electronic membership registration, framing it as a key step in preparing for the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after being captured for the registration at her office in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, Afuye described the initiative as a “political masterstroke” by the party’s National Working Committee. She urged all APC members in Ekiti’s 177 wards to participate, stating the exercise is essential for assessing the party’s strength and support base.

The registration’s state coordinator and Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Gold Adesola Adedayo, praised the deputy governor’s participation and reported strong compliance from members since the exercise began.
