Ghanaian Prophet Ebo Noah Explains Why Predicted World-Ending Flood Did Not Occur
Ebo Noah, the Ghanaian man who sparked widespread attention and curiosity after building a massive ark and predicting a world-ending flood set to begin on Christmas Day, has revealed why the prophesied disaster did not occur. In August, Ebo went viral claiming he received a divine warning of a catastrophic three-year rainfall that would wipe out the world starting December 25.
The wooden structure, dubbed the Ebo Noah Ark, was built under what he said was divine instruction. Ebo urged the public to repent ahead of the impending destruction, drawing comparisons with the biblical Noah who built an ark to survive a flood believed to have wiped out the ancient world. The prophecy and videos of the expanding ark sparked intense media coverage and attracted visitors from Ghana and abroad.
In a Thursday video statement, Ebo explained he received a new revelation after “intense prayers, fasting and consultations with other religious leaders.” According to him, a new vision showed the number of people seeking refuge in the ark far exceeded its capacity. “God reveals to redeem. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated, and I have built… In the vision, when you look at the number of people coming… the expansion of the ark couldn’t contain them,” he said.
Ebo said he pleaded with God for intervention and was granted more time to build additional arks. “So, I shared my vision with some great men of God who also interceded with me. After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks that will contain all of us,” he added.
He warned the public not to rush to the ark’s location on December 25, stressing he was neither selling tickets nor collecting money. “Tomorrow, nobody should rush to any location. I am not selling tickets. I am not taking money from anyone also,” he said.
Ebo urged calm, festive celebrations and continued repentance, insisting the message remained valid. “Please, stay home. Enjoy yourself. Have fun… Still, the ark is there. Repent. Repent. Repent. I am wishing all of you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” he said.
