Goje Denies Defection Rumours, Reaffirms Loyalty to APC Ahead of 2027

Former Gombe State Governor and Senator representing Gombe Central, Danjuma Goje, has dismissed speculation about a possible exit from the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that he remains committed to the ruling party.

Goje made the clarification while addressing supporters who visited him to seek confirmation about reports linking him with a potential defection ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former governor described the APC as a party he helped build and said he had no plans to abandon it. He urged his supporters to remain united and continue supporting the party as political activities begin to gather momentum across the country.
