Kaduna Lawmaker Dies Days After Inauguration

Mr Madami Garba Madami (Chikun, PDP) in Kaduna House of Assembly, is dead.

The late legislator couldn’t join his colleagues of for inauguration of the 10th State Assembly on June 13, 2023, due to sickness.

A traditional title holder from his constituency (Chikun), Ibrahim Sale, the Ardo Ardodin, announced Madami’s death.

Governor Senator Uba Sani, has expressed shock over the death of Madami just as he has alsom condoled the immediate family and the Chikun constituency.

Mr Sani said the late lawmaker promoted peaceful coexistence and was greatly respected.

“In his lifetime, Madami, served as Member, representing Chikun Constituency, in the Kaduna State House of Assembly; Chairman of Chikun Local Government Area; Commissioner of Planning and Budget and Special Adviser Political, to Late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa.”
