‘My Father’s Cancer has Spread’ – Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden, the son of ex-United States President Joe Biden, has opened up about his health, revealing that it is getting worse as the cancer affecting the former president has now spread to his bones.

Hunter revealed this during a BBC interview, where he talked about his father’s ongoing fight with the disease and how it has affected their family.

Hunter said that his father’s condition has become painful and hard to witness as the illness continues to take a toll on his health.

He explained that the cancer has spread from its original site to his bones and other areas of his body.

Hunter, Biden’s only surviving son, said the situation has been hard for the family, especially because of the pain and weakness caused by the disease.

He also talked about his father’s important role in the family, calling him a devoted father, husband, and grandfather who is still at the heart of the family even as he faces health problems.

Hunter said: “I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good, the cancer has spread and further. It’s very painful… very debilitating. Cancer is really hard. It’s really sad to watch. My dad is, to this day, the centre of our family. He’s the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather.”

Biden first shared his cancer diagnosis in May 2025, about four months after he left office.

Doctors diagnosed him with an aggressive type of prostate cancer.

Later, the former president said he was responding well to treatment and thanked everyone who prayed for him and supported him during his illness.
