Poco Lee’s Team Denies Drink-Spiking Reports, Urges Public to Await Court Outcome

Poco Lee’s management has addressed the ongoing legal matter involving the Nigerian entertainer in the United Kingdom, urging the public to avoid speculation and allow the court process to run its course.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the management stated that the case is currently before a UK court and emphasized that no conclusions should be drawn until the judicial process is completed. The team noted that allegations should not be treated as proof of wrongdoing and stressed that the entertainer has not been found guilty of any offence.

The management also refuted reports circulating online alleging that the case involves drink-spiking, stating that such claims are not part of the allegations currently being considered by the court. According to the statement, the spread of unverified information could mislead the public and unfairly affect those involved.

News of Poco Lee’s arrest in the UK surfaced on August 19 following reports linking him to a sexual assault allegation. However, authorities have not publicly disclosed detailed information regarding the case.

Separately, a Texas-based Nigerian rapper, Ms Jorji, made allegations against the entertainer on social media, claiming he attempted to sexually assault her and her girlfriend during a visit to his residence several years ago. The claims remain unverified, and no official connection has been established between those allegations and the ongoing UK court case.

Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, gained recognition after featuring in Zlatan Ibile’s hit music video “Zanku (Legwork)” in 2018. He has since built a successful career in the entertainment industry, collaborating with several top Nigerian music stars.

His management said any future information regarding the case would be communicated through official channels and appealed for patience while legal proceedings continue.
