Police Nab Gun maker In Jigawa

The police in Jigawa State have arrested one Alassan Sabo, for allegedly fabricating and selling firearms to hoodlums.

Lawan Adam, Spokesman of the command, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued  on Monday.

Lawan said operatives attached to the Department of State Services (DSS), Jigawa State Command, while acting on a tip-off, raided a blacksmith workshop at Garin Gabas Market, in Malam Madori LGA.

He said the suspect is strongly believed to have been supplying firearms to hoodlums to carry out their nefarious activities.
