Putin Will Not Attend Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral- Kremlin

The Kremlin has disclosed that Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin would not be attending the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

Buckingham Palace had announced on Thursday the passing away of the Queen after 70 years of reign.

The Russian president spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, in a press statement stated that  although “Russians respected her for her wisdom,” yet Putin’s attendance at the Queen’s funeral “is not being considered.”

Putin had on Thursday offered his condolences to King Charles III following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, wishing the new monarch “courage and resilience.”
