Teenager Drowns In Kano Pond

A seventeen year old boy has drowned at Titin Jajira in Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.

This was disclosed by the State Fire Service.

Its spokesman, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, revealed that the service’s rescue team brought the boy out of a pond, but was later confirmed dead by a doctor.

“The corpse was handed over to the police at Bachirawa Police Divisional headquarter,’’ he stated.

The fire service would continue to investigate the incident, Abdullahi added.
