We Will Do Our Best To Secure Nigeria- Defence Minister

Minister of defence, Bashir Magashi has restated the federal government’s commitment to ensuring improved security in Nigeria.

Magashi made the vow on Wednesday during the inauguration of some projects at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

The defence chief also spoke on the government’s efforts in terms of ensuring “first class training” of officer cadets of the NDA, adding that the investment is to promote an enabling environment for security operatives to carry out their duties effectively.

“We are all products of the NDA. We are proud of its achievements so far, and we are hoping that we will do what is required to bring peace and stability to the nation,” he said.

“Certainly, we are making progress and by God’s grace, we shall not fail this nation in all forms of security matters.”

He commended the NDA on its excellent training, adding that the investment in the academy has raised the bar on the efforts to provide standard services.
