Former Chief of Staff to the Governor and prominent aspirant in the Ondo South Senatorial Bye Election,Femi Agagu has withdrawn from the race on the ground that the primaries lacked credibility.

“I am, therefore, left with no option than to pull out of the contest whose outcome has already been predetermined”
Agagu thanked his supporters and members of his political family for their steadfast belief in his competence, capacity and suitability to represent the people of Ondo South in the Senate.
“I’m not unaware of your eagerness and your determination…some of you had trooped out this morning in anticipation of the primaries only to be told that those who were to conduct the Primaries had not even arrived Akure.”
He , however, urged them to be resolute in their support of the Party and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
A former Commissioner for Education, Agagu is the Director General of PBAT Continuity Project, PCP, one of the major support groups campaigning for Tinubu’s re-election.
