Audi Trains NSCDC Female Strike Force For Smarter Security

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi has intensified efforts to strengthen the operational readiness of the Corps with a specialised capacity-building programme for its Female Strike Force (FSF).

The two-day workshop in Abuja is designed to sharpen the Force’s operational deliverables, research capabilities and intelligence-driven approach to security, reinforcing the Corps’ capacity to respond effectively to the complexities of modern security operations.

The initiative reflects the Commandant General’s sustained commitment to building a highly trained, professional and agile workforce capable of delivering on every mandate entrusted to the Corps by the Federal Government.

Flagging off the training, Professor Audi stressed that women are critical actors in modern security, particularly in intelligence gathering, conflict prevention, peacebuilding and tactical operations. He reaffirmed management’s commitment to providing the Female Strike Force with the institutional support and professional development required to maximise its potential.

For the Female Strike Force, the training goes beyond capacity building. It is an investment in operational effectiveness, equipping personnel with the critical thinking, evidence-based research and strategic intelligence skills required to make informed decisions and deliver measurable results in the field.

The programme also reinforces the Corps’ commitment to protecting Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), while promoting a security architecture where tactical capability is strengthened by intelligence, innovation and professional competence.
