Former Minister, Isa Pantami Declared PDP Guber Candidate in Gombe

Former Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami has been declared the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Gombe State.

Pantami was announced on Tuesday at a gathering attended by Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, who is also a former governor of Gombe State.

Pantami, who withdrew from the APC governorship primary, reportedly reached out to Gombe PDP leaders to seek the gubernatorial ticket, a request which was granted.

Pantami was a minister under former president Muhammadu Buhari between 2019-2023.
