INEC Begins PVC Distribution in Ekiti, Sets June 11 Deadline for Collection

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to registered voters across Ekiti State, with a final deadline of June 11, 2026.

In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Bunmi Omoseyindemi, urged all citizens who registered but are yet to collect their PVCs to do so within the stipulated timeframe.

According to the commission, collection will first take place at Registration Areas and Wards across the state from Tuesday, June 2, to Monday, June 8, 2026. Thereafter, the exercise will shift to the respective Local Government Area offices from Tuesday, June 9, to Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Dr. Omoseyindemi emphasised that obtaining the PVC is not only a personal responsibility but also a crucial step toward active participation in the electoral process. He called on eligible voters to take advantage of the window to ensure they are not disenfranchised.
