NAHCO Signs New and Renewed Contracts with Major Airlines
The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has secured a series of contracts to provide comprehensive ground handling services for several major airlines, marking a significant expansion of its operations.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, NAHCO announced the renewal of long-term service agreements with Air France, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic, as well as with the African carrier RwandAir. Additionally, the company has entered into new contracts with United Nigeria – Regional, Bellagio Air, and Malaikair.
The renewed contracts with Air France and KLM are set for three years, extending into 2028, while the agreement with Virgin Atlantic also spans three years. The contract with RwandAir is effective from October 1, 2025, and will run for three years.
Among the new agreements, the contract with United Nigeria – Regional is for five years, commencing August 1, 2025. Bellagio Air and Malaikair have signed on for three and five years, respectively.
Saheed Lasisi, Group Executive Director of Commercial and Business Development at NAHCO, expressed confidence in the company’s ability to meet and exceed customer expectations. He highlighted NAHCO’s 46-year track record of reliable service as a key differentiator in the industry.
The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Olumuyiwa Olumekun, further noted that the company’s ongoing investment in new equipment would enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
