Sunday Igboho Rescues Ex-Minister’s Sister, Twin Sons from Kidnappers
Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has carried out a rescue operation leading to the release of Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu, along with her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul John-Paul.
The victims were abducted on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, while being driven to school in Ibadan. Mrs. John-Paul, a former staff member of the Central Bank of Nigeria and First Pension Custodian, and her sons were freed following intervention by Igboho and his men. The suspected kidnappers were also apprehended during the operation.
The successful rescue has sparked jubilation among family members, friends, and local residents, who had endured days of anxiety.
