Two Suspected Bandits Arrested in Imesi-Ile

Two suspected bandits were arrested in Imesi-Ile, located in the Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

According to local sources, the suspects were spotted in a bush area with their cattle, which raised suspicion among residents. Local security operatives, led by Chief Layi Abesin and Chief Muyiwa Oguntoye, quickly mobilised and tracked the suspects to a nearby mountain, where they were apprehended.

The two individuals were taken into custody and subsequently handed over to officers of the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and necessary legal action.
