TETFund Skills Intervention Transforms Learning, Infrastructure at Osun College
The Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Mr Sefiu Adewumi, has commended the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for its Skills Development Intervention in thr institution.
Adewumi gave the commendation in a letter of appreciation to TETFund following the successful completion of the intervention project, a copy of which was obtained on Friday in Abuja.
He said that the intervention had significantly enhanced learning and infrastructure as well as improved academic activities, administrative operations and skills development in the institution.
According to him, the project equipped staff and students with industry-relevant skills, upgraded training facilities and strengthened the college’s capacity to meet current educational demands.
Adewumi said the intervention had also enabled the college to acquire facilities and equipment that had been difficult to afford over the years.
He noted that the provision of Starlink internet services and a mini-solar grid had helped address major power and connectivity challenges facing the institution.
”The college can now boast of independent and stable electricity and internet connectivity, which have greatly improved its capacity to drive academic and administrative engagements,” he said.
The rector added that the intervention had contributed to improved learning conditions and enhanced academic performance on campus.
He also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the prudent use of intervention funds to sustain the gains achieved and expand the benefits to more staff and students.
Adewumi further said that the project had repositioned the college to meet 21st-century educational demands by equipping lecturers to deliver practical and industry-relevant training while producing graduates with employable skills.
